The Environmental Issue

There is a culture of creating awareness among the staff and students on the issue of envir The Department of Botany of the college in association with the “Basudha Eco-club” has taken initiative to undergo Green Audit in order to sustain the eco-friendly environment of the college campus.
The college puts on a continuous effort for the maintenance of greenery and gardens of two camp
A full time gardener is always careful in maintaining and breeding an attractive campu
The two campuses have been declared by the college as “No Smoking Zone” and “Plastic Free Zone”.
The Campus Maintenance and Beautification/Green and Environment Conservation Committee carefully maintain the green environment of the camp
The college has a medical garden and has named it “Madhumali Veshaja Uddyan” which s maintained by the Department of Botany of the colleg
The “Basudha Eco-club”, NSS, NCC organise tree plantation programmes from time to time.
