Berhampore Girls’ College endeavors to enable the students to ensure their own progression and to cope with the programmes they have opted Functional English & Hindi as Add-on courses. The basic aim is to enhance their functional knowledge and to help them to grapple with the global society. The Functional English and Hindi has been introduced in 2015 to bridge the knowledge gap and to ensure the development of the communication skill of the enrolled students in the College. The authority of Berhampore Girls’ College has found adequate reasons to make Functional English & Hindi compulsory with a scientifically viable curriculum from the academic session 2017-18 for the enrolled students of the college.
